今年我們組制訂的英語學科活動為：“小學生英語作文大賽”，主要是五、六年級的學生參賽。
開學初，我在我們組訂的英語報紙上看到了“小學生英語作文大賽”的消息，免報名費，但是，又仔細一讀，每個參賽選手要訂閱全年的報紙，大約三十多元，這等于是有報名費的。在教研會上討論時，大家認為訂閱報紙錢數過多，訂閱的報紙也沒有時間組織學生學習，不如在五、六年級組織比賽作文，不收報名?
我們給學生的寫作時間是一個月。
十一月，我們的活動正式開展。經過統計，此次作文比賽共收上來英語文章240余篇，其中五年級110篇，六年級130篇。經過各位教師的評選，批改，共評出一等獎20人，二等獎50人，三等獎80人，鼓勵參與獎90人。各獎項已經發了獎品作為獎勵。
本次活動的舉行，五、六年級的學生參與性強，經常有孩子來問老師怎么選題，用什么時態來寫，這個句型這樣寫行不行，這句話中的這個詞能不能用別的詞來代替。他們寫好以后，還請教師批改，再工工整整的重新謄抄一遍，在寫作文的過程當中，他們的詞匯增多了，句型運用更靈活了，就連書寫也美觀了，許多學生有了收獲。
本次活動的舉行，體現了小學英語課程標準的對學生的寫的能力的要求，并且高于新課標的要求，對學生的寫作能力是個鍛煉，提高了他們寫作的積極性，促使他們積極主動的學習，從要我背單詞到我要積極的多背單詞。學習態度發生了轉變。體現了新課標的要求。
本次活動也有值得注意的地方：
一．學生的參與面再廣一些就好了；
二．教師先給范文，再讓學生摹寫，對更多的學生是個鍛煉；
三．好的英語小作文要收集好，制作出作文集錦，讓學生互相學習；

英語曹專教《新概念英語》這本書。課本上三節課的內容，聽說她一節課就上完了，而且學生還喜歡上她的課，在她的課上沒有誰能走得了神！
我聽了一直不信，這回非要親自去上她的課。第一天上課時她就穿一身灰：灰大衣就像斗篷，灰帽子上還有幾個褶，就像揚州灌湯包，穿著一雙灰靴子，還戴著一副細邊眼鏡。如果再加上銀白的胡子，那就是魔法學校的。校長阿不思。登不利多了！
一上課，我就領略到英語曹的特點了。她上課從不是等學生舉手再點名回答的。在她的課上回答問題從不用舉手，要么直接站起來，要么就是“地毯式”提問，她的手揮到哪一排，那一整排的學生就是一個緊接一個機關槍掃射似得迅速回答，常常頭一個還沒說完，后一個都蹦起來了。沒跟上的則站著再說一遍。大家一站一起，像在玩“打地鼠”一樣，掀起一層波浪。這樣就像鋪地毯一樣，哪個角落的學生回答不上？這樣精神高度緊張，學生哪有走神的時間。既能讓每個人都回答，又加快回答的時間，充大一節課的容量。能不一下上完三節課嗎？
英語曹除了課上得快，記單詞也快。她常常用諧音或小故事來記。像國籍這個單詞，被她用諧音記成“奶昔奶利提”她說這像一種糖的名字，我們對甜食感興趣就會記得快。比如“通?！边@個詞她是這樣記的“usua”就是“有兒有女”，因為這個人既生男孩又女孩，所以后面“lly”就是他高興笑得直打嗝。有時? 經過她這樣聲情并茂的記法，記單詞果然不費事了。

“英語大王”紀夢瑤——記我身邊的“小能人”
紀夢瑤是我的同桌，她不僅人長得漂亮，而且英語特別好，同學們送給她一個綽號——“英語大王”。
幾個月前的一天，老師提前通知我們說，下周的一次考試難度較大，提醒大家認真搞好復習，可仍有許多同學我行我素，該玩還玩。成績下來了，全班同學幾乎都考砸了，惟獨紀夢瑤考得很好，只錯了幾個小問題。
在我的印象中，每一次考試，紀夢瑤幾乎都是第一個寫完的，但是?
她不僅考試好，上課發言也好。不僅舉手次數多，發言的質量也是上乘的，經常受到譚老師的表揚。尤其是分角色朗讀課文時，她讀起來是一氣呵成，抑揚頓挫，深受老師和同學們的喜愛。
和她同桌快一年了，平時我們交流得很多，但她從來不在我面前表露她是怎么學英語的。我的真不知道，那么多的生詞和語法，她是怎么記住的？另外，她的作業也很好，不僅書寫工整，而且正確率也高，只有在極少數的情況下才會出現錯誤，譚老師經常用她的作業當范本，號召全班同學向她學習。
有人說女生與男生相比最大的特點是大腦中的“語言中樞”比較發達，但紀夢瑤給我的印象卻不是這樣，也許她的語言中樞的確發達，但同時，她也把男生玩“子彈車”的時間花在背單詞上了，也許這就是“英語大王”成功的“秘訣”吧。
從下周一開始，我要好好地向她學習，把英語成級提高到一個新的水平。
今天，是新東方暑期英語的最后一節課了。老師說這一節課很有趣，前一節課我們彩排節目，后面一節課就是感恩的活動。
經過前面的認真表演，活動正式開始了。Breada老師請大家出來表演第一個節目，先是面對老師唱了一首感恩的歌曲，然后轉身面對父母同時也唱了這么一首歌。接著就是檢驗大家的單調量，老師指幻燈片的單詞，請小朋友們舉手回答，反應要快、要準，叫到我的時候，我又緊張又興奮，哈哈，過關了，獎了點卡。然后是講故事，有一部分是大家一起讀的，還有一部分是大家分角色表演朗讀的，大家都表現得很好，也贏來了家長們的一片熱烈的掌聲。最后一個活動就是老師讀有關顏色的單詞，讓我們快速找出周圍環境有關這個單詞的相關物品，真是太有趣了。
活動結束后，老師對這學期小朋友們的表現作出了點評，我得到了一個全勤獎，也拿到了相應的50個點卡，其它小朋友也都有收獲，大家都很開心！
今天，英語老師給我們考試了，我考得不好，老師在念聽力的時候，我沒有聽，在后面筆試的時候，沒有仔細看，這些都是媽媽給我在家復習過的，我太粗心了，爸爸媽媽都批評了我，也在卷子上重新做了，我知道我錯了，下次一定改正。
星期六，爸爸媽媽帶我去看電影，電影院門口可熱鬧了，有的人買爆米花，有的人買電影票，我們看了一部叫《心花怒放》的電影。這部電影很搞笑，里面講的是一個人去大理的地方然后發生的一系列的故事。我推介大家去看。
