作為你們孩子的英語老師，我想通過這個家長會，和你們共同探討一下“怎樣幫助孩子學好英語”、“家長和教師如何共同幫助孩子學習成長”等問題，希望各位家長針對各自孩子在生活、學習等方面的表現，提出寶貴意見，一起幫助孩子快樂學習、健康成長。首先，我先說一下孩子們的學習表現。這個班的英語，我是從三年級就一直帶著的，學生們都是在同一起跑線上學習進步的，經過兩年來的學習，學生與學生之間的學習表現不一，拉開了一定差距。一些學生學習興趣濃，學習勁頭足，課堂上思維，踴躍發言，課后及時鞏固，形成了良性循環的好勢頭。他們的學習習慣好，在聽、說、讀、寫方面都能齊頭并進，我為他們感到欣慰。可也有一些學生，平時學習馬虎，基礎不扎實，得過且過，興趣不濃，書面作業拖拉不交，口頭作業根本不完成，如此一來，學習自然成了件頭痛事，麻煩事，學習成績一直提不上去。其實，大部分的學生還是處于中間層次，老師所教的，所布置的作業能夠基本完成，但學習的效率又因人而異，存在著個體差別。盡管他們平時不需要老師操太多的心，費太大的力，但是說起各方面的表現，又總有一絲遺憾，我們教師和各位家長的心情一樣，總希望他們能夠再上一個臺階，能夠學有所成。
怎樣幫助孩子學好英語呢？家長和教師如何共同幫助孩子學習成長呢？老師自然是最直接的知識傳授者，有著不可推卸的責任，但是家庭教育至關重要，你重視了，你付出了，孩子們自然會學有所成，你松懈了，你不管了，孩子的學習自然搞不好，在此，我呼吁我們的家長多配合學校，多配合老師，靠我們共同的努力來幫助孩子學好英語，和孩子共同成長、共同進步。
我認為，英語學習并不難，難就在于沒有一個好的家庭教育環境，沒有養成好的學習習慣。我們要在以下幾個方面加強對孩子的學習教育。
一、要給孩子們營造寬松的學習環境。
一是學校的學習環境。我們老師在英語教學過程中，尊重每個學生，保護他們的自尊心和積極性。創造各種合作學習的活動，促進學生互相學習，互相幫助，體驗成就感，發展合作精神；關注學習有困難的或性格內向的學習，盡可能地為他們創造語言的機會；建立融洽、民主的師生交流渠道，經常和學生一起反思學習過程和學習效果，互相鼓勵和幫助，做到教學相關；加強對學生學習策略的指導；引導學生在學習過程中，進行自我評價，并根據需要調整自己的學習目標和學習策略。孩子們在學的輕松，學習的主動性、自覺性不斷提高，我們給學生營造了寬松的學習環境。
二是家庭的學習環境。每位家長一定要關注孩子們的學習，多鼓勵，多給孩子們營造寬松的家庭學習環境，不能不管不顧，放任自流，不能無原則打罵孩子，要針對孩子們的學習表現，多和學校老師溝通，多和孩子們溝通，共同幫助孩子改正缺點，樹立信心，培養孩子們學習興趣。
二、要重視孩子們良好學習習慣的養成
1、讓孩子多聽、多想
首先是加強聽力訓練和說話訓練，然后才是讀寫能力的培養。聽說能力差，用英語進行交際的能力差，為此，家長一定要配合學校來要求孩子，要創造條件讓孩子多聽，多聽純正的錄音，聽幾遍、聽清楚了以后，跟著說，從小培養孩子的聽覺，為將來打好基礎。
2、讓孩子多說、多練
家長要每天讓孩子多讀英語、多多練習說話，要鼓勵孩子大聲地朗讀、對話、問答，大聲說，不害羞，這樣有利于清楚地表達自己，培養信心，能力，敢說、多練才會學好英語。
3、讓孩子熟練背誦課文和單詞背誦
這是一項基本功，可以積累一些日常用語，到用的時等候就可以脫口而出。但是在背誦過程中要講究方法，不可操之過急，要注意分散和集中相結合。我們一般是分段教課文，那就可以請學生分段背課文。等快教完的時候，再把課文串起來背，這樣可以降低一點難度，讓學生背得輕松些。但是在檢查過程中，我們發現有一些學生背得相當熟練，可問他課文中的某個詞組或句子的意思時，他卻一問三不知。所以，我們在背誦過程中要注意上下文的理解，在理解的基礎上達到背誦的要求，課文中涉及到的相關詞組和句型，要讓學生熟記，并能用它們來造句、說話。在具體的實施過程中發現：有些學生根本不用心學，能偷懶則偷懶，很多家長比較負責會查問有沒有教新課，要不要默寫，但孩子不老實，欺騙家長。這時候，你應該及時跟老師聯系，做好溝通，讓孩子知道：欺騙不是辦法，也會受到相應的懲罰。

作為一名英語教師，我認為我對這三個班的孩子是盡心盡責的。我每天早來晚走，一心撲在這三個班的英語教學上。三個班的好幾套作業，《同步練》，《一課一練》，《活動手冊》，作業本，練習本等等我都認真的進行批改。有的時候還要帶回家改。但是結果卻不是那么的盡如人意。我分析后發現問題主要出在孩子的學習方法和學習習慣上。我發現學(本站推薦)習成績好的孩子，他們都有好的學習習慣和學習方法。
好的聽課習慣。課堂是教學最重要的環節，緊緊抓住40分鐘比課后補四個小時都有用。課堂上應該要集中注意力，跟著老師走。這樣不會漏掉任何一個知識點，才會學得全面。我發現有的同學在課堂上始終能保持注意力的集中，有的則是只能集中一段時間，還有一小部分是幾乎沒有多少時間是集中注意力的，手在下面動不停，老師點名的時候好一些，一轉臉又不知道在干什么了。上課不聽怎么可能學好英語呢？
學習英語主要就是操練句子，要說英語，學了要能說出來才是會了。課堂上我們留有大量的時間讓孩子們朗讀，表演。所以在英語課上積極發言就顯得更加重要。我問那些不愛發言的孩子為什么不舉手，他們說害怕錯。我都是跟他們說：“即使錯了也沒關系，這樣可以讓老師發現你的問題在哪里并及時糾正。”作為家長也應該這樣去鼓勵他們，要他們抓住每次發言的機會。
作業是課堂教學的補充和鞏固，作業完成質量的好壞直接關系到知識掌握的牢固程度。好的作業完成習慣包括按時完成作業和按時交作業，按老師的要求認真的，字跡清晰的正確的完成作業。雖然只有這幾點，但真正做到也不是那么容易。特別他們還是孩子，孩子總有不自覺和管不住自己的時候，所以家長應該在這方面多下點工夫。對于做作業習慣較好的學生，家長只需要在他完成作業之后檢查一下就可以了。但對于習慣相對較差的孩子來說，作為家長你可能就要多花點時間陪著他寫了。我們也能理解家長工作的繁忙，但是對于你們來說最重要的是孩子的教育問題，孩子的成材才是你們作為家長真正的成功！

我們每天的英語作業都不是很多，一般在半小時內就能完成，有的孩子還是不能完成。家長說語文數學作業太多了，沒有時間寫。我想問語文數學作業多難道就不用寫英語作業了嗎？英語還是要學的。所以家長可以幫孩子想想辦法，可以適當的改變一下做作業的順序，可以先做英語啊！
